Hello, friends and fellow creatives! I’m Chee from Lex Art. Fair warning before we start: I’m not a natural at drawing. My doodles are more abstract than artistic. That’s a strange thing for the owner of an art shop to admit, but it turns out to be the whole point of this story.

Lex Art started as my passion project, a cozy corner of the internet where I curated stationery that sparked joy and creativity. Then life got busy. A full-time job, everyday demands, and the usual juggling act pushed Lex Art into the back seat for a while. It never left my heart, though. It just waited patiently, like that notebook you swear you’ll start using “next Monday.”

During that pause, I went through a stretch where daily pressures felt heavier than usual. What helped me most wasn’t anything fancy. It was small visual things: a funny drawing, a good color combination, a little design that made me smile at 3pm on a bad day. I learned that art doesn’t have to be perfect to work. It just has to make you feel a bit lighter.

So that’s what Lex Art is going to make.

We’re starting with stickers, made to live on laptops, journals, water bottles, and anywhere else that could use some personality. Think reminders, jokes, and small wins: the kind of sticker that makes you smirk during a meeting, or gets you through a Monday that’s lasting much longer than it should.

First, we’re making room. Before the new stuff arrives, we’re clearing our old stationery shelves, and some genuinely good pieces need new homes. Bundles are up here: Clearance Sales. If you’ve bought from Lex Art before, thank you. This is a great chance to stock up.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing rough sketches (yes, the abstract ones) and asking for your opinions on which designs should come to life first. Down the road, I’d love for Lex Art to give back too, and I’ll share more on that once we’ve found our feet.

For now, I have one question for you:

What’s one thing on your desk that makes you smile?

Tell me in the comments. It might become a sticker.

Thanks for being here. Here’s to new beginnings, and to not taking ourselves too seriously.
